If it’s a few hundred for pipes and hose... I’m willing to pay... but 1k + seems to be changing the whole set of the radiator system.... I’m just feeling it’s not worth it to change if I’m going to change my car next year

Dear all fellow bimmers owners, just did my servicing at my own workshop. Mechanic told me my whole set of pipes and hoses need to be replace as it’s 70% worn out. Quoted $1k+ for replacement. Is this reasonable? I’m driving a X1 2012 E84. Thinking of changing my car next year, therefore feeling...
