Retrofitting Apple CarPlay to E60

Hi, does anyone know where I can retrofit Apple CarPlay to my E60? Had the chance to use Carplay on a rental while on holiday and quite like the convenience of pairing my iPhone seamlessly with the headunit. The existing stereo with iDrive is really old school by comparison.

There are aftermarket Android headunits which supports Carplay, I remember seeing on carousell before

Thanks. I'm looking to retain the original look of the centre console with changing the head unit. Made some enquiries - one solution is to install a "smartbox" that adds the CarPlay function.
