Re: Brake upgrade(front) for F10
What about HELLA PAGID Brake Pads. I know its OEM on some brands including Porsches.
If use on the F10 stock rotors, is it compatible. Also are they quiet and low dust.
Anyone using this?
I recently did an oil change a while back based on my own preferred Oil Change Interval instead of following the car's onboard indicator for the next oil change due.
I tried to override and reset this indicator by depressing the odometer button like what some people did on youtube.
The reset...
Re: Brake upgrade(front) for F10
Also hiadees, was just thinking - can I put a brembo or stoptech or AP-racing, lets say 6 pot, in the front only n leave the rear stock? Would my car 'dive' each time I brake hard due to much stronger braking at the front?
Re: Brake upgrade(front) for F10
Wao...8-). Cant agree more on the Brembo GTs which I am using on the E92 335.
Just that on a family sedan like the F10 528, I am trying to stay away from the Brembos if possible to avoid attracting all the necessary attention & comments. You see, my boss...
Re: Brake upgrade(front) for F10
Lets say if I start with a change in brake pad first and use it on the existing stock rotors. What will be a good one. I read good reviews about ATE CERAMIC - low dust, quiet and good bit......apparently.
Stock brakes feeling spongy and progressive, and lacking bite. Thinking of something with more linear braking force.
Don't want to get the Brembos but was thinking of maybe the BMW Performance brakes.
Anyone has done this and care to share some feedback?
or will a change to a different brand...
Re: What tyre pressure(F10)
I didn't complete PSLE and my calculator jiak kerosene. Can save me the agony and sharing 245/45/18(100Y) needs how much psi?
Am driving a F10 528i on stock 18 rims with Michelin PSS 245/45/18(100Y).
B pillar sticker says 230/250 kpa for 3 adults, and 260/310kpa for full load.
Want to check what brothers use. Do you follow these pressures?
Re: Engine Oil capacity for F10 528 (4L TPTurbo)
I have confirmation. Its 5.5 bottles of the smart quart bottles at each oil change. thx for chipping in everyone. Thread can close liao.
Hello hiadees,
Been trying to google but got confusing results from searching.
How many litres or US quarts of engine oil is required. Is it 5.75L (6.1 US quarts).
Also, can this engine take German Castrol 0W-30?
