The items u changed is not the same.
The fly wheel and crank shaft seals are just simple O Rings and not expensive

I am a successful example of driving a BMW to almost 300,000 KM mileage and did not spend a lot of $$$ to maintain the car.

Not true for my case.
Please seek 2nd opinion else where.
I have changed my solenoid at mileage 180,000KM
my current mileage is 281,000KM.
Unless ur valve body is spoilt, else following my post and change solenoids should be good enough.

Please do the following test:
To better GUESS or Assume the problem.
Run engine for 10 mins
Rev hard and see if there is white smoke from exhaust.
If there is, the valve seal needs to be replaced.

There is nothing to take note visually as u cannot see inside the engine after it's done.
So long as there is no more white smoke and engine oil level remains the same.

I was not sure what was wrong and did not get from stockies
Just for sharing,
While driving half way,
The engine check light came up and I felt a lost of power.
From what I know, yellow color error icon usually means warning. So I drove the car straight to my usual workshop.
After diagnostic, found out that the Valvatronik Servo Motor was damaged...
