Very much defined as a sports car, the new 8er is not just a Coupe version of the popular, luxurious 7 Series as you might expect but a new machine, and one that BMW have been free to define. With a number that brings back memories of the Z8, the previous 8 Series and also the i8, it’s clearly very significant.
