3. Provide clear contact instructions (List phone number, email or PM). **Required.
4. Private Sales Only.
5. Relevant items only.
6. No Indirect Advertising / Promoting Of Other Services and Companies
7. Only members with 20 posts and more can start new threads
8. No Thread Hijacking. Start your own Topic.
9. Post only 1 Topic per sale. No cross-posting in other forums. No bumping of Topics more than once a day.

A rough gauge will be to take Z4 and perhaps 325 cabrios from SG Carmart with the same time period (mid 2007), compare their asking price vs OMV ratios..... should be around 2.5-2.6.hitmee said:

Not the best gauge, but considering all things equal, you dun wanna overpay.
Ah Khoo, take similar cars with similar OMVs and age, calculate their selling price/OMV ratio. Of course, the selling price might be unreasonable, but you are using it to gauge frothiness of the selling price of this car too. Example - if you have on average 2.6 and the outliers are few and not far away from the mean, then you know you can use the ratio as a multiplier.Winston said:

Not an expert here, but 2.5 times paper value is obviously just a guess (like stock pickers who use book to market rather than price to earnings
...even P/E can be dubious some say). Work the numbers closely and you will realise how much money u save with a lower OMV.
Moreover, assuming that u buy this car at 120k and resell at 75k during year 5, depreciation per year will be 1.25kish - probably the cheapest way to drive an N52. Lets not forget the interest and insurance savings.
OMV is pretty low becos it is a used import from japan at 3800km - now 16000km due to wkd driving. Also, SGDJPY was high at 85, currently 65ish. Besides some blemishes, no repairs needed over last 2 yrs. I have not even experienced a glich I dare say.
Selling my baby becos i have overseas plans. Cant afford to leave it there for more than a year or two. Will be such a waste alright! Besides, wld rather see a connoisseur own and care for it. Perhaps I can buy it back from u someday!!!
