Found this website and am thinking of buying their bulbs to replace the yellowish original foglights:

They've quoted me USD50 per pair for low beam, high beam and foglights, excluding freight costs. According to the website, it's DIY. It might not be so easy to DIY for low and high beam for bi-xenon lights, but I think fog lights will be easy.

If i've read the website correctly, these are just blue-coated halogens.

Not real HID or Xenon.

this can't be used for OEM HIDs.

For those of you following this thread.....

I have decided to be the 'guinea pig' and have ordered 4 sets of 'Xenon' bulbs for my E46 (lowbeam, highbeam, fogs) and E60 (fogs). Will post pictures when the bulbs have arrived and installed (hopefully working!!!)

I've received the bulbs and installed them on my E46. I've changed the low beams, high beams and the foglights. To me, they are bright enough, a low cost mod to have the xenon look, and it goes well with the CCFL angel eyes as well. Attached pics as promised earlier.... cheers!

Bulbs are at USD50 a pair, shipping is USD15 for a pair. I bought 4 pairs and they charged me USD10 for shipping for all.

Didn't try the local ones. Saw these on the internet and it looks good so gave it a try.

are these whiter then philips diamond vision bulbs?

The bulbs looks pretty white and not blue-ish like those I saw on the roads. The guys at BVO also commented that these bulbs are real bright compared to what they have seen when I got them installed.

I'll be going down to BVO today about 5pm to install the fogs on my E60. If anyone wanna have a look can meet me there.
