x1 sdrive18i M Sport Package

Have just collected the car from PML last week and have been doing research on performance upgrade. Unfortunately, the only tuning company that has piggyback ecu upgrade I have come across is only SKN tuning. Have anyone tried them before? So far I have only change to K&N filter. Was contemplating turbo charging but can only find parts for diesel version. Or pivot 3 drive but it is only a trottle response not a real performance upgrade. Please help. Thanks.

Unfortunately no, it does not come with the new engine. It is still the same I-4 engine.

Juz save up to buy N20 lah. No point doing piggyback ECU or re-flash wif marginal improvement.

I think so but I don't they are bringing it in. Want to consider turbo charging, any recommendations?

Look for ben ong. Say introduce by me, I bought the only m sport they have. I was told the price has increased from last month.

i would say forget it. i assume the cost for turbo-charging would be close to $8k and above and yet the result is 'risky'
can trade in your X1 with the new X1 turbo engine coming by end of the year or early 2012 :lol:

X1 is one hideous-looking SUV. Not worth doing anything to it, IMO.

Oops, performance has nothing to do with looks. My bad.

I dont think it's worth it.. No point turbo charge... Live with it save enough n upgrade..

haha, yup, bought the car for my wife to drive. it's the only X1 with m sport kit at the moment. heard there is another monaco blue one coming in.

I've got my new X1 sdrive20i with N20 turbo engine last week. One week since then I feel the engine is much better compare with my pervious E90 LCI. Very powerful engine.

Cool. Did you buy from PML? Didn't realize that they had this model available.

I got it from PML. The model just arrived in Singapore not more than 1 month.
