X1 common issue(s)?

Hello all,

Currently looking at pre-owned X1 and it is my first BMW so would like to check any common issues for BMW or X1 in particular?
Heard from some friends who drove before (not X1) or what that BMW vehicles usually have hydraulic issues after some years and quite expensive for the repairs.
