this is a full-performance gaming laptop.
the full specs are in .zip file attached.
Bought at US$6000. (got receipt to prove)
Roughly ard S$10500 back at 2005. this didnt include shipping.

i think if you put your expected amount, maybe some people might reply...

most wouldn't expect u'll sell it for anything less than $5k right? so i guess nobody wants to low ball you.

i 2nd Ferd's comments. pricewise i think it will be hard to get back a desired price for the laptop since its already 10k to start with. pc stuff prices are on a declining curve....plus i think most of us who can cough up 5k for a laptop probably would go for a new one with warranty. given the specs n the pricing, i think you are better off keeping it for gaming.....its one hell of a gaming laptop....:woowooo:

yea, probably i shld put the price. but i wanted to how much do pple think its worth.
i'm not looking for over 5k for it. although if there is i wouldn't mind.. :)

i'm okay with anything from S$4500 onwards. still nego though.

the specs although its a Pentium 4. But i believe no other brands has ever come up with a P4 3.6GHz on a laptop. And its Hyper Threading that means there's 2 processors which is 2x3.6GHz.

theres realli alot of specs in this com. go check out the zip file in the first thread. its a full specs given by alienware itself. fully certified.

your spec & price had to be relative to todays notebook specs and pricing. e.g. typical fast windows powered/MacBook Pro that allow great gaming experience will cost around 4K +/-. its specs is almost double of your set. particularly computer is not a piece of equipment that holds up any resale value. if you had someone who offers 2K for the set is sure one big carrot you just take without second thoughts. I'm just being frank here. not flame. still I wish you best of lucks on your sales.

but if u find the price hard to swallow, its still best to keep it for gaming.....specs not bad

the alienware is really a all rounder lappy. can surf,chat,game,designing. practically almost everything.
in my point of view, its realli useful to pple who wants something that's portable and at the same time can do what a computer can do.
i would keep it just that now i have a computer and i dunnid it for school anymore.
so rather than just leaving it lying ard i might as well sell to it someone who can realli make use of it
and another reason is to raise funds to do some lovely stuff for my car :laughing:

the price i'm looking for is rather high, but that's of course considering the cost price and shipping fees.

maybe i'm little biased, but i really it doesn't lose out to the present technology like intel duo core 2.

ANYWAY, it's till up for sale. Anyone interested can just sms or call me at 96794620 for nego.

its a very beautiful laptop...but if im willing to spend 4.2k for it...i will be willing to spend 10k on a brand new one instead...

anyway good luck in your sale...though i think you'll be better off keeping it...i wouldnt sell for $2-$2.8k
