$1000 is a tad too high if u are referring to stock bumpers and side skirts. With installation and possibly respray, will be about $500. So total about $1500. Brand new M-Tech bodykit everything in u can get about $2500...just $1k more...
Even if u trade in for a new bodykit, most workshops will accept only about $250.
I never anyhow soot..I am speaking from experience.

Quite a few PMed me on where to get M-Tech kit for $2500...well..u need to be abit resourceful instead of going to the "usual" shops...and of course to ask intelligently.
KBS is one place you can try...I believe they sell the original parts although pricing may vary in accordance with what you want. Some may want original front, replica rears and side skirts...or original front and back but replica side skirts..and so on..
Then there are other custom bodykit shops..like Super Modern at Paya Ubi and Y2K at Eunos..they have both types..original and replica...at very competitive prices..although need to order and wait..cos they bring in from Malaysia.
Depends on wat u want really..u can see many E60 on the roads with mix/match kits..such as M5 front/M-Tech rear...M-Tech front/M5 Rear...Reiger front/M-Tech rear..AC front/M5 rear..etc etc....find the right people and u get the right stuff..hurhur.

When I said "custom", it really means "custom". U wan a Corolla bodykit on ur BMW, they fabricate one for you either locally or in JB n then send it here for installation n spray. All u need to do is bring a pic of wat u want, they measure ur car n tell u can or not.
