bro what you are selling is what I sold you.
I trusted you and asked you to take a look at mike sin wee chuan's workshop before committing.
I did not even ask for a deposit.
I asked you to see properly before committing, because i am not a technical person, and all i know was that it fitted nicely on my newly-sprayed car before i put it up for sale. the bumper was as good as new. my advice was to stick to the same workshop, SWC, as it is good, and to prevent any unnecesary discrepancy usually related to fixing the same stuff at different workshops.

you asked mike to spray it from my white to your black.
then u had a unpleasant experience with mike, saying he is too busy etc, and without informing me, took my front bumper to your own workshop. now u tell me your work shop says some clip holders on the bumper is missing, fog light looks old etc, and that you have "no assurance" that it will work properly? You called me last night telling me you do not want the bumper now, after spraying it from white to black, and then taking away from mike SWC's workshop. My question to you was, how do I know if your workshop did not install properly hence the clip holder broke? how did you transport the front bumper, possibly braking some things along the way?

now i have your name and mobile number, and have SMS and called you but to no avail.
Can you contact me asap to sort this out?

1. You told me the bumper was 5 days old when until the day when I want to install and I called you tt I realise the bumper is sprayed by you 5 days ago and the gods know how long the bumper is on this earth since its been installed since the previous owner tt you got ur car from. Isn't it like those commercial scams when you got a second hand car at low mileage but later found out the odometer has been tempered with.

2. You are not a technical person neither am I. So the clips aside, I think even a small kid can notice that the fog light cover is yellowish and scratched FROM THE INSIDE. Don't tell me after I bought it somehow immediately the cover turn yellowish. And don't tell me its scratched during transportation as its impossible. with the fog lamp in this kind of condition you still can tell me its in good condition and attempt to sell it. Can I say you mask the actual condition of the bumper in order to sell it.?

3. The transactions work on mutual trust. Yes you trusted me. But I also trusted you in tt the bumper is in good condition that I committed to paying for the spraying. I did take a look before I paid for the spraying but since the bumper is wrapped up nicely and I trusted that the bumper is new, I did not take a more detailed look as I am rushing for another appointment also. Blame it on my stupidity for trusting.

4. You did not even attempt to help me with the problems and instead blaming me. Yes correct its my fault for not checking your "good condition" item properly and also blame it on my busy schedule, but is it entirely my fault? Despite my busy schedule I still got to worry about how to store the bumper since the workshops aint that happy to keep the bumpers for long while I still got to look around for parts for the necessary repairs. And you think I want to move the bumper out of swc? Its a hassle to me since the bumper is so big and I got to make arrangements for lorry to transport it away. Plus the movement is only around the paya ubi industrial estate and I personally shifted the bumper plus its wrapped up. How much damage can be sustained?

5. I ask you to take it back but did I ask you to pay from my loss of spraying? Since you do not want to take it back and keep insisting that the bumper is broken during transportation, fair enough I will still take the bumper. But while you are sitting there comfortably blaming me, I am here worrying about the storage of the bumper and whether is it viable to get the fog lamp repaired incalculating the loss and what and how I am going to deal with the bumper. So y would I want to pick up your call when all you say is I damage during transportation while I am here thinking so much which I shouldn't be if the bumper is in a good condition.

7. Now that you posted here and the community has seen your version and my version of story, let them justify.

I will also need advice of what I should do as now I am really headache over this matter. If you guys feel I am fully at fault and its my bad, I will immediately transfer amount to this guy. Thanks in advance.

Should pay to the seller la since u COD with him. It was all your fault that u did not check properly ma unless he refused u to do so when COD. This is something u shopping in market and buy a spoilt toy back whereas the spoilt toy was choose by yourself. So blame on your bad luck.

But lesson learn, don't deal with the same seller anymore for no matter good deal he offer next time. He hide something from the sale. He is not a good seller.

2nd that....sucky as it may seems but caveat emptor !! You have the opportunity to check but you did not.....I was somewat in a similiar situation before and sad to say...I have to suck it all up.....while alot of things we base on trust and face value, ultimately we still need to perfom our due diligence...

Also agreed with bro BMW7833 on lesson learnt....if wat redhotdevil said is true....all to beware of the initial seller.... tis aint honest :roll::roll::roll:

Agreed! It is a buyers beware market when it comes to 2nd hand stuff. Take it as lesson learnt, and don't go back to initial seller.

For those who are intending to consider this sale, I can vouch that RHD is a very nice guy, will tell you the whole truth and won't cheat you. :)

alamak, now i know why golilok didnt reply my pm, as he had sold the bumper to RHD
and now all the defects had surface, when i wanted to purchase it from RHD 2 days ago. 7 Jun SAD

1. RHD brought t fully wrap bumper over to my regular worksh. which is just a few units behind SWC.(would t bumper be damaged during his transportation just few units away? ) unlikely
2. unwrap the bumper, wanted to install to my ride but discovered inner left hole crack/ lower bottom right hole missing./ top holder hook damaged/ foglight cover its damn lok(yellowish) with the presence of me & RHD.
3. RHD apoloyizes for wasting my time(as time was wasted on removing my org. bumper down & fix it up again) as he didnt expect his bumper would be in such condition.

could it be both of u guys didn't checked the bumper after SWC had spray paint it, which result this dispute. SWC fault?? have u guys thought of that?
just sharing some of my thoughs, hope u guys can work it out.

i am the seller, when i post the item up for sale, it was in good condition as mike SWC had resprayed it well, and fixed on nicely. i took it off cos i purchased a after-market front bumper from mike. I did not see the mtech front bumper after that, and left it at SWC, then posted my sale ad. I did not say it was 5 days old, as in brand new 5 days old. I did say i bought a 2nd car, and resprayed my whole car, and took it off after 5 days. i asked u to see the item, and when happy, then pay me. thats all i asked.

i did not post my sale ad to sell any defective items. if u refer to my sale ad, i also sold my roof spoiler and boot lip spoiler. i can ask my other 2 buyers to vouch how i transacted with them, only when they happy, then they pay me. the buyer of my roof spoiler was COD. the buyer of my boot lip spoiler only paid me 2 days after he collected the item and verify it could fit nicely on his ride. let me know, i am sure they can verify.

be it the item is spoilt or in the condition you want, it is not that important now. but u have sprayed it black, and took it away from SWC without telling me, which is why i cannot vouch for its quality after leaving SWC. yes it may be SWC fault, i duno.

the issue here is i asked u to check properly, if u dun wan, its really ok, we wun deal. i am sorry for all the trouble u went thru.

I bought the roof spoiler from golilok(you guys can check the thread). It was a fair and positive deal(got to be fair to him).
I believe both RHD and Golilok are honest, sincere people, something may have went wrong either @ the workshops or somewhere else. Cool guys! :dance:

Agreed with Ben, somewhere along, SWC or others might had damaged the
