I know. I am the new owner.

Btw, wanna ask you a few questions.

- Fuel consumption full tank [Highway / Urban] - 30/70 - 450 KM ; 70/30 - 550 KM

How u achieve this fuel consumption?

And other than the AC Strut bars, what else were taken out?

Cheers

Ray.

(The pic is the car.....i've spent abt 6k already doing it up)

Re: Wts - E36 320ia

Wow, additional $6K on a car with 4+ years to go. I knew the paint work should be done up which will set you back by about $2K, but not sure what else you have spent the money on.

It could have saved you at least $2K [if bought directly from me - was willing to let go at $19K then]. Sold to the dealer you bought from at $18K (trade-in sought of).

As for fuel consumption, I am not particularly heavy footed except when I need to overtake or when I feel a little spirited once in a while. Else if you are conscious of burning $ every peddle you step, then it should bring you as far as when I owned it.

I have also removed and sold the Super Chip [original from UK]. Felt less torquey after I took it out [this chip supposed to improve fuel consumption 2-3%].

I can send you the vehicle's service record for the last 2 years if you are keen to keep a tap on what has been changed. I believe the front wheel bearings are up for replacement though.

I have been mostly safisfied with this ride except for the noise proofing. Good luck and enjoy your new ride.

cheers,..ST

Quite a fair bit of wear and tear...including the front bearings and Brakes.

Quite disappointed that chip had been removed, no wonder no torque and consumption bad.

The shocks were gone and I changed to PSS coilovers and new springs.

Btw, pls email service records to me at : gweenray@hotmail.com

Anyway, enjoy your E-39....i looking for coupe now.....

Cheers,

Ray
