Just sharing my experience.

My adventures with buying X5 rims resulted in my buying them off a US website, for price and variety in choice, mainly due to the significantly larger SUV market there. Finally got mine from tirerack.com and saved a bomb compared to what was on offer in town. You will also save on the cost of tyres, especially if you're going for 22" and above and say 315 in width. I was quoted around S$1,000 per piece in Singapore for 315 tyres in 22"!

As you're running a staggered configuration, a word of warning, you've got be careful with the tyre sizes to get your rotational circumference as close as possible. There are various combinations you can try (some more appropriate than others) and you'll need to use the tyre calculator.

I don't recommend 21" rims as you will have some problems with getting the right sizes. Either 20" or else 22".
