Hiya guys i'm looking for a E46 bmw 318ia, i saw one at a carmart selling at $59k nov 2004 reg silver with a nice plate ES1808 wonder if anyone know the history and if its worth to buy ?Any advise is welcomed thanks

Re: Wtb Bmw 318ia

A Nov 2004 318a, if it's a Sports Editions....OMV is about $46K.

Scrape value is about $52K, plus body price of $2 to $4K. The car should be worth about $54 to $56K. And at this price, $54K, you should be able to get a reasonably good condition car.

Basically, I would price a car at scrape value plus a few $K (personal opinion what is this 'plus' value).

However, do a calculation... because the coe is probably high ($28K to $32K), annual depreciation may be high.
