Starting a thread on this.

Met a seller with an incredible sense of paranoia coupled with a high nose - To buy the parts, you must

1. Pay the 50% deposit in cash. Changed his mind later and said in full.
2. Will not corporate to let you see the goods - busy he says
3. Makes appointment at the last moment - you must accommandate his schedule.
4. Tells you that he's got no time to deal with these couple of thousands of dollars - busy
guy - you want the stuff - Do items 1, 2 & 3.

I walked away.........

plenty of a*hole buyers & sellers out there...
not a big fan of trading in s'pore.

couple of nice folks once in a while though.

IMHO..2,3 and 4 unacceptable. Disregard for basic etiquette. 50% deposit still can accept if item is priced to clear and already seen the item.

Yeah bro...what are you buying? It should usually be the other way round where the buyer is difficult....

I was trying to buy some car part items - nothing really exotic.......

Worst thing... When you ask the seller, can i view so that i can see if it fits well, willing to head down anywhere to the sellers convinence and he replies, if interested then meet..... Don't waste his time. ....Walked away and just ignore him.

But some sellers are really nice, like "someone" whom sold me his M5 mirror...very nice to explain the difference etc....
