Windshield condensed due cold air from dashtop vents

I have this situation on my E90 PFL... Everytime I turn on the aircon in circulation mode or any other mode, my front windshield will condense on the outside at the middle part. I feel cold air blowing from the dash center top vent. I tried to press different modes to see if I can stop the cold air from coming out from that top vents, but to no avail.

Am I doing it correctly, or is something not working right on my car? Anyone got this problem, and how can I fix it?

condensation outside the windscreen occurs when the interior is much cooler than the outside.
mine has this issue on some nights too. but only when I have one of the four front facing vent is closed.

couple of ways to go around this,
1) air con temp adjust higher. mine is always at 23deg.
2) fan speed set to auto then change to front blowing mode only. there was an informative post previously about this setting from R2d, search for it.

I have tried all the above steps to no avail... Meantime I will stick to previous thread of using sponge to block the vents.

Go to a WS and check the chassis type selected for your ride's IHK module.

at 22deg and above, warm air will also starts blowing at your feet ( original design for winter climate)
Also having sponge may not be a good thing, after too much direct sunlight,
the sponge starts to disintegrate and get into the airconditioning system and
u may end up having early x mas effect

Have your tried those anti-fog applications? Might help if you still can't find the cause.
