I hard use them to clean my windscreen but lately been doing so whenever I drive up North. Noticed the sprayed solution is much like water n not soappy at all n hence doesnt clean the windscreen well when wiper goes over it.

What happen to the solution, do they have useful life span? :whythis:

Have you tried topping up with the wiper-spray soap? And in the correct proportion (roughly)?

Re: Windscreen wiper wash-not soapy anymore

you just add water and expect it to be soapy mei. hee hee

Re: Windscreen wiper wash-not soapy anymore

The car was filled with soapy stuff when new. I havent added anything since, so how come they become 'watery'.

Re: Windscreen wiper wash-not soapy anymore

Maybe the soap suds start to dissolve over time? Not sure man..

Using soapy solution is more effective in wiping, but personally I dislike the whitish stains at the sides of the swept windscreen. :(
