Whole car vibrated for 1-4 secs

I experienced car vibrated for 1 to 4secs on a few occasion when it's idling at traffic light.
Gear is at D, engine didn't die and no warning lights. After the vibration, car was back to normal.
Any idea what could be the problem here ?

Sounds like dirt is the culprit. Could be you air filter or throttle body. Might also be excess carbon at your exhurst. Clean both area and take your ride for hard driving.

Whats your idle RPM set at? It might be too low that causes occasional vibration. The idle RPM can be re-setted thru the OBD but you will need the workshop with the diagnose kit to do it.

do you experience problems on cold start? i have the same problem too. its not often though.

go have your ignition coil n injectors check.

on idle(at traffic light), for no reason, engine vibrate like wan to stall right?
im assuming yours a N54 engine...

Hmmm... can try to clean throttle body... sometimes I do hit high rev... so dont think is excess carbon ....

The RPM looks normal to me... slightly below 1k ... normal ?

Nope, no problem on cold start. Probably will get the workshop guys to check on both.
Doesn't feel like it's going to stall ... anyway i was too late to check the rpm when it was vibrating...
Everything went back to normal... I'm on N52... Thanks

Maybe the ICV needs some cleaning ................. mileage ?

Nope... monitoring it for now... Think going to clean throttle body when send for servicing.

Don't forget to clean the ICV ..........
