wondering if i have my own spark plugs, which workshops can change for a small fee? don't trust the normal workshops that do jap cars... and autobacs quoted me sgd80 to change, excluding the damn plugs.

anyone can recommend their workshop and price? im tinking of buying the plugs from autobacs cos denso ik20/vk20 got 15% discount, making it sgd68 for 4 pieces. quite a good price but 80 bucks for labour? :shakehea:

Not suaning you but dont be penny wise pound foolish. Some workshops will wanna eat you on labour because they dont earn on the plugs. Safer bet, call the workshops and enquire rgd the plugs and labour cost, total cost. Then compare with your initial idea. Might be a few dollars diff but dont forget petrol and time :)
Site sponsors listing have a few workshops you can checkout, BVO, R2D, BOSS etc... they can change plugs

true, wise words. juz not sure if autobacs was trying to chop me by quoting 80 bucks. if this is market rate for plug change (and im buying from them), then i would prefer to wait for volker stock. was expecting like 10-20 bucks labour from autobacs.

cheap is to go mxt but i dun trust their sun mech. prefer reputable guy. as for sponsors, tink since they carry high end plugs, if i go to them, i should be getting their plugs.

ROD, volker got stock in?? :D

WTF $80!!! Using samurai sword to chop off the spark plugs is it... Just change mine to Bosch Platinum IR Fusion(from mx trading) at my mech, $10 labour only...
