Which tyre shine???

Hi Guys,

Am currently using Tyre Black tyre shine and its soon to be empty.

Am thinking of changing to another brand as Tyre Black does not seem to last long and the shine aint fantastic.

Was wondering what you guys are using for your tyres to give it that lasting, insane, sick shine.

Macguire Wet Gloss. Purple colour liquid. Damn long lasting.

yes, have seen those at the shops. maguires have another one that is called insane shine or something. which is better?

IMO, go for the purple coloured gel type ... the "insane shine" ones only last like 2 days or so.

ok. very confusing coz insane shine is potrayed as the ultimate shine for tyres, while purple juice seems to last longer but no mention of the sick shine i am looking for as well.

I have not tried the other line. The bottle of Endurance High Gloss lasted me almost a year.

No, use a good sponge, spread evenly.

ok. i usually use my kiwi shoe shine sponge once the gel in it runs out.

anything cheap works for me. long lasting vs more application with cheap product, which one more cost effective i take that. i used Jusco Tyre shine RM 9.90. Last me 3mths plus depend on how often I drive in the rain.

was told that some groomers actually use battery water. their own blend of mixture. shines as hell!

any1 heard of?

Battery water?
Isnt that acidic?

I once had battery water touch my jeans and when i got home, there was a hole in that portion!

maybe not then. but i am certain battery water was one of the ingredients that bloke used.

Bought a Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tyre Shine to try.

seems good ...and smells tasty too.

was formerly on Armourall Gel, the orange bottle type...nt bad too..

I have not tried the other line. The bottle of Endurance High Gloss lasted me almost a year.

yes. and it shines like hell. liquid almost seems to bond to the tyres, unlike conventional tyre shine that gets wash off easily.

That grape is the best so far I have tried. It was out-of-stock sometime back, couldn't find it anywhere, but it was back on the shelves already. Price seems to be higher compare to some years back.
