Which is your favourite Porsche 911?

seems like there re a number or Porsche 911 fans here, but which of the 911 generations are your favourite?

The original 356? The early 911? The RS? The SC? The 964? The 993? The 996? The 997?

Since there are so many variations on each generation, just pick the generation with your fav. car in it.
it doesn't have to be the fastest or the most powerful, it's which one u want the MOST!

Classic aircooled: 911 3.2L M491 Super Sport Turbo-Look wide fender, because I love the way the car looks and don't like to deal with the issues of forced induction for classic car like that.

For modern watercooled, obviously the 911 997 GT3 RS FTW! Agility and manic power with huge revs, natural aspirated! This color only.

err ... I'm not a 911 fan .... neither am I a Porsche fan. I'm a car lover, just like you, quite agnostic. Unfortunately for the world, (IIRC) only Porsche makes cars very well balanced for the enthusiast with all the weights and tension and the noise and some comfort - affordable for me.

I with that Toyota will just put their mind to it, but they can't, coz (the new) Porsche is their baby. They delivered it from hell to the modern world.

Well, my choice is not a 911 but since you mentioned it, it has to be a 356 Speedster. Preferably the Type B from 1959 or thereabouts. It's the 911's daddy and the TT's grand daddy. Erwin Komenda is a genius.

i've thought abt this before and seriously looked at some 930s and 993 before ending up with a 996. imho, the 911 just keeps improving with each successive generation. so i guess my vote goes to the next generation: 998? 999?

has to be the 996TT ... suitably modded ... insanely fast ....... 997TT to smooth due to VTG ... still miss the kick as the turbos spool up ............
