i use mobile supersyn too

Ja! Mobil is goot!

Hey Bros, engine oil, like many other items, I'm sure can be organised to do group buy basis and provided to your workshops of choice during ur servicing.

Does anyone have any lobangs? Know how to organise a group buy on these things? Can just keep 1 bottle at home and use as required. Then group order again when needed once or twice a year.

Just thought we pool our resources.

Anyone any ideas?

Torco Racing is smoother than Mobil Syn. Both in actual butt feel and finger feel. Touch the oil and you could tell that it is much finer than the rest.

I've switch from Mobil to Torco Racing since November, and it felt more torquey in the throttle. Results obvious perhaps because my ride is 4-year old and has clocked 100,000 kms.

Try it for yourselves.

Sama sama too! Great responsiveness and can redline faster!!
Thanks for the recomm bro!

seems like its really very good. where can we get them???

Universal Cosultantsshould be able to help you.

Hmmmmm...... Sounds like good stuff but then i still got my doubt over 30 oil in our humid climate....

No doubt that 30 oil will be smoother than 40 oil and redline faster but then then protection wise.. ?

Racing is a totally ball game cos just like F1, they change their engine more often than we change our wiper blade...

Anyway, i may be just anal.... :)

piggyboyz,
For a relatively newer car think it's ok to use 30 ( I suppose say up to 3yrs old) but for older one, maybe not so good protection wise coz the 30 is too thin liao...

wilman2772, kenntona,

So u guys saying, it is quite o o but goot goot is it? :silenced:

Even for new car, the 30 oil will deplete after say about 10k of use and that is the reason why PML is charging for extra litre of oil when car is send in for oil change and they will leave it in the boot for DIY top up..

Anyway the oil is definitley not for M3 cos the factory recommended oil for M3 is 60, 30 is way too thin liao... The guideline came up after the worldwide recall on M3 engine blowing up...

Bro, I am just a layman - not gonna quantify with statistics which is better. My butt feel told me Torco Racing is better - after I HAVE used it.

Just an opinion from an ordinary user. It FEELS BETTER than Mobil.

Cheers.

I've always been using Castrol. This goes back even to all my previous rides. IMO, it's a good brand to use. But maybe I think it's time I try something new and give Torco a try than instead of always sticking to the same old ways and mindset.

Guys, please be careful of the oils that go into you engine. Some additivies are not compatible with the previous oils and can lead to the build up of sludge. Please open your fill hole to look inside in case it is too late... everything should be bright and shiny... 8) 8) 8)

Cheers
