I saw many E36 headlight cover turned yellowish andmisty. Where (which workshop) can open the headlight cover to polish it till crystal clear? Also where can I install angel eyes?

Thank for answering.

Re: Where to polish the E36 headlight cover?

dunno about the polishing.. might be cheaper to get new or reconditioned ones instead of polishing them... as for the angel eyes look for Barry.

Re: Where to polish the E36 headlight cover?

from another detailing forum, i saw people using a bluffing machine such as Porter Cable aka PC, and the result is :) :)

Not sure any brother tried before.

Re: Where to polish the E36 headlight cover?

i have dismantled my headlights b4 when i did my HID. took the whole thing out and washed the front light cover. the dirt are washable but the reason why most lights are blur are due to the external scratches, ie sand, stone particles hitting the light cover. that u can't remove. can look for ah yan at five luck enterprise at alexandra village , he did up my hid lights

you would be surprised if you have seen whisky_tango`s work. there might be a few pics available in some really old thread

Re: Where to polish the E36 headlight cover?

that would be a relief for some of the guys who need that. luckily for me, i only got small little sand chips....i could live with that...maybe let it get worse then i can have excuse to go get new headlights...hehe. but honestly speaking, the oem headlights are pretty good stuff. just some minor dust and little chips, just a wash with soap and water will do wonders already.

Re: Where to polish the E36 headlight cover?

e36 headlights are glass and not plastic. When I install the angel eyes, they just clean up the glass with a wet cloth. Kim kim swee swee liao.:yummie:
