Hi guys,

Have installed 18" rims on my E90. Thinking of also adding spacers for the rear wheels cos still a bit sunken. Any recommendations on where'd be a good place to get it done? thanks!

Re: Where to install Spacers

Any reputable tire shop would be able to help you on this. I also waiting to get my spacers fitted on my car too. I go to Leong Seng and they told me that they can machine the spacers in about 2 days.

Address is in our resources page.

Cheers!

Re: Where to install Spacers

You can go Leong Seng tyre at Ubi and get them to custom make a pair for you...

Re: Where to install Spacers

piece of metal mounted in between the rim and the wheel hub so that it pushes the wheels outward, making it the wheels and tyres fill the wheel well better.

Re: Where to install Spacers

if you can affort look for super quality like Eilbach ?
i think Jack ever mention this he knows where to get this

hihi, do you know how much a custom pair would cost me? Hope it's not a stupid question, but would customized spacers work better than those branded ones like eibach?

Re: Where to install Spacers

i think some some one here can get it at competitve $ for it
for the fitting just make sure it has right size screw to mount on it
and better not to use air gun to tighten it just MHO

Re: Where to install Spacers

actually, i do not agree using spacers, I just dont think they are safe and I have heard many times the just come loose. So longer studs is a must, what about those ones with studs attached and are bolted to your hub?

Re: Where to install Spacers

phil, if at all possible, try not to use spacers as spacers add additional load to the wheel bearing and lugs... hence they might wear out or fail faster.

Re: Where to install Spacers

Plus the "unsprung" weight is more by 0.0000567398 grams per lug

I would never use them

Re: Where to install Spacers

I already have a long "stud" no need to install oredi. Just need MILF so need need DIY
