I kerbside my hamann race edition rims and I believe that the lips are actually polished metal. Any idea where I can get them restored?
Thanks in advanced.

if your rim chrome ,its only electroplated a tiny layer of Chrome on the surface, propably the copper color is the pri coat.Appetie;680015 said:anyone has any idea if it was over grind, the polish surface turns to copper color?

wt_know;679609 said:assuming "standard" and "common" curb rash and nothing dramatic
leong seng = $50
hurry = $30
both can do good job. i have fixed curb rash twice with hurry. if your rim is silver or silver-like colour, it should looks like new ... if your rim is special colour or powder coated, that's very tricky and may be unrepairable without respray

When you mention silver or silver like colour... are you refering to those standard OEM rims on BMW that sort of colour.
How does Hurry repair them .... sanding? wouldn't that cause the shine on the rims go off or have scuff marks?
I just had kerb scratches on one of my rims...![]()
wt_know;698626 said:yup ... sand sand abit, putty and spray ... wala ... it looks like new .. i have done it twice at hurry tyres on BMW oem silver rims
