During Super Import Night, I spoken to a Philip salesman regards the HID kit there had to offer for BMW 3-series in general. Is priced @ $530 inc. GST cash and carry, normal retail price is $599 according to him. So I asked the salesman, did you know that your HID wattage is gonna be different compares to the standaard OE bulbs current on 3-er. He answer, 'Yes'. I asked again, "So, there will be error codes after installation". His answer again, 'YES'. But you can asked PML to reprogram your BC to take in the new wattage according to Philip spec." I smiled and leave mins later.nYteMarE;268841 said:the next best alternative is the phillips diamond vision etc bulbs
a lot of members are using that...
even PML is willing, is ain't gonna be cheap. the reaso why that retrofit Bi-Xenon so expensive, is because 1/3 of the 6K goes to labour. parts alone for a pair of Bi-Xenon with blub + ballast is around 3.2K. Below a 1K for the washer +spray paint on the top cover. If someone got some 20% discount from PML, the retrofit will cost 4.2K after discount. is worth considering then. am I making sense?nYteMarE;268959 said:is PML going to be willing? just take the cheap route out and go for a HID look with the diamond vision lor.. saves on the hassle...
5000K apparently with diamond vision.. i passed inspection in those also...
