Hi

I drive a e30 and last weekend i noticed water seepage into my boot. :(

I guess the rubber lining of the car boot is now not watertight...

Any recommended workshop to have this lining resealed?

Thanks

It may not be your boot seal (not that I've seen your car hahaha).

It could be the seal around the rear light fitting - these also send water straight into the boot if not sealed properly. Best to dry out the boot and then make it rain (use a watering can) to figure where it is coming from. Eng Soon is a good place to get spares like this (as Mockngbrd says)... but this stuff fits together like lego... probably no need to go to a workshop if you are handy with a spanner (or could go to any... recommended on the site j4c bvo r2d etc. for help if you are not confident to do yourself)

haha, just got mine sorted out by rod at r2d.

seems like there were a few plugs missing behind the bumper fixtures.

rod took out the bumper, sealed the holes and voila! no more fish tank in boot!
