Where to buy Stock M Sport Springs for E90?

Can anyone advise where to buy original BMW "M Sport" or "M Tech" springs, apart from PML?

I plan to install them with Koni FSD, which I understand works best with stock springs. Also as the drop (15mm) is less than most aftermarket springs like Eibach or H & R, so less problem with kerbs and bumps.

Thanks.

after sometimes with Koni FSD, i believe you'll be looking at coilovers...
so i say, go with coilover now and save the $$$ on Koni FSD.

Hi,

If you can wait till Jan, you can have mine at special price as I am installing KWs when my car arrives.

Thanks for the offer, Markus. Could you kindly PM me your asking price?

Thanks for the advice on coilovers, Tom. Do coilovers offer significant advantages over FSD/lowered springs for driving styles that are not that intense or aggressive?

Re: Where to buy Stock M Sport Springs for E90?

I personally have bad experiences with using FSD and lowering springs. As the FSD shocks aren't designed to operate in the lowered height range, my car tends to bottom out much more easily than compared to a proper lowered spring+shock combo. Its not very nice when you hit the bump stops, and if you are encountering this mid corner, it can really make your car lose lots of grip.

This sounds like a risky combo. Thanks for the sound advice. Going the KW V2 route instead.

instead of just spring, what about a complete m-sport suspension (damper + spring). i suppose the combination is perfect match right ? however, i guess most bro will advise to go for coilover instead of spending an arm & leg for m-sport suspension from pml

Yes, I asked PML. Price is considerably more than a good coilover set, but I think the M Sport suspension upgrade includes extra parts anti-roll bars, struts and stuff.

You can get an almost-new set of M-Sport springs and shocks for about 1/3 of the PML upgrade price from new 335 owners who are upgrading. M Sport springs lowers by 2.5 cm compared to stock. With adjustable coilovers, you can go even lower.
