Where to buy Paint Touch Up Pen?

Re: Where to buy Paint Touch Up Pen?

Sure. the touch up paint is like enamel, and will help seal the scratch. As we know we cannot expose the metal too long as rust will set in. Of course the last best option is to spray over at it as some good workshop. Fortunately, my ride is grey, I know dark cars like black is very obvious. Good luck bro. Welcome bro to the forum.

Yup, that's my intention. Just a temporary patch to ensure it prevents any corrosion. Will eventually get it re-sprayed. Maybe when I decide on my kit or get more scratches to make it worth while :)

Touch-up paint (I use BMW's), followed by wet-sanding with a 1500-grit then 2000-grit sandpaper. Then shine with rubbing compound (I use Meguaire's Ultimate Compound), followed by polishing (Autoglym Super Resin Polish), then seal it with a layer of wax / sealant (I use Autoglym's Extra Gloss Protection)....

Works for me!!

Now, when you perform the wet-sanding, the finish WILL look hazy and "scratched up". Don't worry - you did NOT screw it up.... As long as it feels smooth to the touch, the rubbing compound will bring back the shine!

Good luck! Not for the faint hearted though....
