Where can i have E90 ECU Remapped?

Last heard the Hiop dealer in S'pore can tweak E90 ECU to produce better output. where is this place?

Currently as advertised, Hiop RaceTec only able to push for another 13-14bhp from a 325i to 231bhp.

If let say i mod the exhaust, header, GruppeM...what kind of bhp gain am i looking at?

Most ppl here will tell u to go to BVO and look for Bernard to do the job.
He's the man to look for if u wanna do a remap.

Hi if you want to remap your e90 look for MILK to install his unichip Q. No regrets i have installed and i am very happy with the performance up to now.

Hiop remapping can be done by j4c. had mine done there.

apparently your ecu has to be unlocked by sending the serial number to hiop. they will then upload the new programme and j4c will replace the stock programme by downloading it onto your ecu. the parameters provided include the local operating temperature, the fuel quality, etc.

the other methods of tuning include on-the-road, which recalibrates the ecu to the the individual's driving style.

there are pros and cons of each, not sure how much power and torque you'll gain.

go talk to some guys who have done it to find out.

and to add...

one thing about the hiop remapping is that the new programme was uploaded onto my ecu. i would not be able to bring it with me if i decide to change cars. the only person who would benefit is the next owner.

What is Stage 1,2 and 3 all about?
Have to go thru the sequence 1, 2 then 3 or I can do stage 3 straight?

for HIOP upgrades, i believe its divided into different stages from such as ECU remapped, Header upgrades, mufflers upgrades, pulleys upgrades.....supercharger kit and so on....

each of the above mod will have different horsepower gain on a car and stage 3 perhaps means you put in all the mods to gain the max horsepower available... so it all boils down to individual preference and budget.

What happens when you need to send in your car for servicing.
