BMWs very hardy cars. A few days of abuse also worth the discount. More importantly is in the event of an accident, do u get a replacement car. Gotto scrutinise the contract.

The $15k discount is from the price you bargained or their list price?

Hi !

It depends on individual whether it is worth to buy the Aerospace car :)

If there are saving of S$12 to S$15K.

Good points - With the money saved, you can dress-up the car with 18" Rims + BodyKits + Car Polish Package etc

Bad points - As mentioned by hamz's post, not sure how these drivers handle these car for 5 days show? This will have to depend on your luck.

Overall, if you treat the car as mode of transport and nothing else. Then this will be a good buy because 3 to 4 years later when you decided to sell your car. Your wallet will not suffer so much as compared to those who bought brand new :(

Provided you don't advertise as BMW AEROSPACE EVENT CAR for sales. Ha Ha !

Nobody will know because it is still under 00 transfer. Car registered under your name and loan to PML for 5 days :)

Cheers !

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

I personally find this Aerospace Cars attractive if there is really a saving of $15k from the "realistic px n not list px". We all know that once we sign on the dotted line, our brand new car get an immediate $20-30k depreciation off our purchase px. So with a $15k discount, we are likely to be much better off if u sell within the next 3 yrs. We are talking about bread n butter model like the 320i and the 523i so I believe the cars can definitely take a bit of the abuse here n there for the 5 days n depend on your luck so of the cars are in "standby" and was given to the new owner with less than 100km mileage on it.

Cheers!

Hi ! DragOOn.

If you are really keen you should start to do homework immediately.

Example: Car exterior and interior colour choice.

Get the saleperson to call you once PML confirm the price.

Once the price is attractive to you then Mai Tan Liow....Book the colour of your choice :)

Don't buy last minute, by then limted car for you to choose !

Good luck !

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

Heard the 320 is going on the low side of 120K plus

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

Hi,

Anyone had any experience or heard something of this proposal, good or not so good ??
PML had already increased the going price by around 3K for a start.
Wonder what is the deal on COE rebate, loan rebate, 3 years servicing, etc ........
Say for small savings less than 5K, may not be so worth it .....

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

HI All,

just got the news:

AA-320ia at 123K, with 3% interest rebate( 7 year loan and above) No free servicing, no anti dazzle mirrors, no rain and light sensors, no 6pcs CD Changer

AA-523ia at 161K, with 3% interest rebate( 7 year loan and above) No free servicing, no rear sunblinds, no antidazzle and folding mirror, no wood trimings, 16" wheels.

To add on, I had mine last week at 127K with everything
So lets do some maths
Deduct free servicing 1.5K
Deduct new CD changer ( and upgrade to professional?) 1K
Anti Dazzle Mirror ( $100)
Rain and light sensor ( $1K)
Nett Price 123.5K
Savings 0.5K..
Worth it?

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

Hi, had a layman question here

how to compute the 3% interest rebate?

I just info from PML sales person that the 320iA going for $124K and the 523iA going for $162K. Booking starts today. I was told that the 320iA does not come with rain sensors, Cd changers, anti-glare rear view mirror and the 3 year's warranty. Well, if you add the sums up, you may be better off buying the regular stocks. The discount's about $4K less than the asking last Dec. The 523iA probably has a better deal with a $10K discount. PML too has scale down the specs for the event car..they have downsized the rims from 17" to 16".
