The word MUST denotes a NEED. That depends on your need - aesthetic (exterior and interior), handling, performance, ICE,.... Everyone will have different weightage on these parameters.

Actually its hard to say what is a MUST mod as Kenn said, too many consider..at is also based on preference and budget etc
IMO and based on experience, the first thing most people mod is to change wheels...
I felt even if you don't do anything else...changing to a set of wheels makes a huge diff to the look of the car.

Bro, IMO if you want to mod your rims, why would you want to go back to original BM rims? To me it doesn't really make a difference in terms of better look.
As for body kits, there are options like AC, MTech, Hamann, Rieger, Lumma, Kellener, Wald and etc. It depends on your budget too. You may check on the site sponsor links, each of them carry different brands of bodykits.
Regardless if your are modding for looks or handling, as what all the bros have said, go get the rims and suspension first. Even if you're on stock bodykits, the lower ride and aftermarket rims will make a whole lot of difference, making your car more chio...:woottt:

In layman theory (since i'm but a layman)
it's about reducing airflow restrictions.
Less restriction = more efficient combustion.
imagine if - you invest to create a less restricted output (exhaust)
but maintain a relatively restricted input (air intake).
then you wouldn't be maximising the exhaust modification.
Anyway a drop in filter is the affordable way to go, to mod your intake.
Shouldn't cost more than $150.
a fraction of the exhaust price.
