What tyres for 8.5 x 19?

Hi everyone,

I have this set of 19" non-staggered rims. What tyres size should i use on my E60 523i if i dont want them looking too small? Should i use spacers for the back since they are non-staggered?

I'm considering GY F1 Asymmetric and am aware of the pre-2009 week 24 batch issue from the other discussions. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lim,

if the rear looks flush-in then you wont need spacer..............
for tyre you can try Bridgestone RE 001 or S 001 or Yoko S Drive.................

Thanks as323, but what tyre size? 8.5 should be 245... can go for 255?

My stock being 225/50/17 the tyre size calculator indicates 245/35/19 will almost get my speed right(-0.4%). Is that how ppl decide on what tire size to go with or there's no rules, whatever i like i just slap it on?

can try 235 / 35 / 19 or 245 / 35 / 19 ( got to check as some tyre might only have a certain size ) best is to check with your tyre shop....

for tyre size upsize can try check your driver door pillar or petrol pump cover sometime got sticker stated all the Factory recommended size otherwise can also check you owners manual do have some tyre size and pressure infomation(which is car manufacturer recommendation):woottt:
