what is the problems?

experienced the following symptions recently:

1) ride stall when moving off slowly from stationary position (once only)
2) higher fuel consumption (monitored on 2 full tanks)
3) sudden drop in response (jerk) when I step on the accelerator; lfeel like fuel cannot flow thru smoothly (3 times within the week)

Mine is FL E46, 6 inline cylinder, year 2003.

What is the likely problem?

Maybe you're driving a H50 Hartge with 6-speed manual tranny and a sports clutch! Ha ha ha!

Kidding... seriously, sounds like your fuel pump or fuel line may be clogged. This is most likely if most of the time it runs fine once past the initial acceleration. Go get it checked out. Shouldn't be too expensive to replace the fuel pump, lines and filter.
