What is the correct configuration for E90?

Need advise here... dropped the idea of getting a 19" Breyton replica and may want to consider a Volks Progressive ME 18" or TE 19". No plans to lower the car though.

I am not sure what will be the correct configuration for each of the above and seek advsie here.

18" ME

Front 8.5J offset 36, Face 2
Rear 8.5J offset 36, Face 2
Can E90 take offset 15 for the rear?

19" TE

Front 8.5J offset 35, Face 1
Rear 8.5J offset 35, face 1
Can E90 take offset 15 for the rear?

Any one can let me know the price of a 18" ME or 19" TE now. Send me a PM if price is sensitive.

Thanks...
TR....

Eerrrr... Jack, you are needed here!!

Re: What is the correct configuration for E90?

If u dont want to do staggered set up, go with the Prog ME as both have Face2
and to answer your qst re +15 offset,..it's not suitable for E90
+15 offset is for 5 or 6 series type ( front set up )

Just fyi, most true after mkt wheel makers have designed staggered set up for the new 3er ( unlike the E46 where most rims were unstaggered ) so I m not sure what you are looking but non staggered for the same offsets front n back will not improve much on the look of your car.

If I were you, I'd go with the 19 Prog TE
Slap on 8.5J +35 front and 9.5J +35 rear...swee2x
Or if not do the same configs but 18 in

Price wise, should be ard 800-900 a piece for 19in

I concur, he is the walking and talking wheels dictionary.

BTW Tango, you really need to lower the car a little to go with the larger rims.

Re: What is the correct configuration for E90?

Guys,

Thanks for all the inputs on this configuration....maybe stay with 18"Prog ME, 8.5J setup with +36mm offset all round. Will be using Dunlop SportMaxx, 225/40/18.

Will the rim be flush with body? do i need to add a 10mm spacer to make the overall offset to +25mm and have a better look?

I am not considering to lower the car at least for the first 12mths of ownership.

Cheers.....TR

Your front wheels will be quite flushed but your rear will still be a bit sunken in.
A 10mm spacers for the rear will be just nice. What you could do also is to artificially stagger your tires set up ( but can't rotate your tires after that tho )
ie. 225/40 front and 255/35 rear just like how the previous e46 sports edition was done. Looks good too :)
