What engine oil besides Mobil 1 0W-40?

I'm thinking of trying other brand, been using mobil 1 gold all this while. I've been told by my mechanic that I should be using a viscosity rating of 50 as I tend to high rev my car quite frequently.

So besides Mobil 1's -50 full syn, which one should I go for? Want something best for my ride, no compromise.

yes for more protection you should go up to 50. for me, i switched to 50 after about 2 yrs of very very hard driving.

Heard from Yendor that CP is in Malayasia. If you need anything from UM2 you can contact Yendor and he should be able to help you with things like plugs and oil.

Maybe u wan try OWS - 5W 50?
I'm using it. Very satisfied. Smooth on my e46 318i.
Cost about $120 for 4litres.
