What can I do?

Ordered a set of Brembo BBK from one of our Site Sonsor here on 11 Aug 10. Paid 50% deposit and was promised 4 to 6 weeks delivery. Until TODAY (11 weeks already), nothing heard. It was me that called them a few times, once on the 6th week, was told "On the way".
Ok told myself, nevermind nothing is perfect. Well, another 3 weeks passed, ask again on the 10th week, still "On the way" ...... And all this while, it was me that called them, I did not receive any single call from them for any update or whatsoever, the least I would expect is a call from them, so that I know they are still on top of things .......
And now 11th week .... "still on the way" .......

Is this a norm for the BBK to take so long for delivery?
Am I considered too impatient? What pissed me off is they don't seem interested in getting things done.

What can I do? :verysad:

Re: What can I do?

state the site sponsor here!

Re: What can I do?

If AD, recommendation will be to bang table. :shoot:

Re: What can I do?

I do know that Brembo delivery is quite a while. I heard there is some strike in the place where they make the Brembos. I guess they must have been unaware of this when they placed order. Give it a while more before demanding for a refund or something...

Re: What can I do?

Hmmm....saw a set of Brembo and a black e90 at one of the workshop this morning. Is it yours Viper?

From what I understand, the longest wait for a set of Brembos usually takes about 3 months.

Bro I took less than a month when we ordered from you.

Re: What can I do?

the brakes were on air frieght here actually. then someone accidentally opened the packaging n hit the brakes. now the plane stopped in mid air.

That's damn cheesy. It's ok, you don't owe me a joke.

Re: What can I do?

Usually the brakes should be ready really fast. Mine took less than 3 weeks from Bro Wilman. But on anothe note, my RD Sport race headers on my 6er took almost 2 years. LOL....now BEAT THAT!

2 years ? Still same car ? No wonder you said mod-liao, sell.....

Re: What can I do?

Hahaha....Yes Kenn. Bonnet Vorsteiner defect, I send back to States, not back yet, but car gone liao. Hahaha....I damn classic. But I had fun doing up all the mods. That's the whole point of the exercise. Spend money, must enjoy right? The exhaust note in CTE tunnel still gives me the shivers. Now trying to replicate or beat that note in my new ride.

Re: What can I do?

It took some time for my BBK to come in - around a month to 2 months.

Clarification - the Vorsteiner you dunno buy from who or which PI, not from me and Barry, so better clarify.... skali people think we sell defective bonnet.....

For that, kopi on YOU !!!

Re: What can I do?

I think the whole problem with ordering parts or anything from overseas, delays can be expected. However, communication is key. Most buyers are kan cheong while some sellers are bo chap maybe because deposit already taken. If proper communication and feedback is given, then I guess Viper won't be so pissed off. Much like buying a car, how many of you have had delays? I waited 9 months for my 335 from PML the last time. Sellers/Site sponsors should communicate with your buyers because you owe them this.

I'm the king of waiting. You can't beat me. I waited 1.5 years for my e64 650i from PML. Hahahaha....ordered 645ci, took them 7 months to tell me factory stop producing 645ci, so give me 650i instead. I'm happy. So I wait.
