Common problem in bmw, esp if you (oops, previous owners) pump when almost on empty

Interesting way to read...

I think what he meant was if the fuel tank is always almost empty, the fuel pump burns faster since its not fully submerged in the fluid which keeps it cool.

Engine Oil filter change usually come with engine oil change. Not fuel filter.

Oh bad, the dealer didn't cover the filter,is it cheap to do it outside?

Ok call dealer to order fuel filter too. if not will do it at our site sponsor workshop.

Basically, I gathered from a sponsor WS that our bmw fuel pump is liquid cooled. By the petrol itself. Best is to pump when low fuel lights up (ar 90km left).

If you always wait until almost empty tank to pump, this stress the fuel pump and it's lifespan can be shortened.

Hence, it's better to pump early and not run the tank almost empty all the time.

Siao liao... I always stretch to the last drop !!

just pumped 58L before this post !! Usually pump spoilt at what mileage ?
