Water on mat

Guys and gals,

Had this recurring prob with water found on the front passenger mat especially after a heavy rain with the car being stationary. It occurs with irregularity(maybe once a month:sometimes after heavy rain also ok).Very sian now ler. Keep on incurring $1k+ maintenance bills per month since I got her 6 months ago. Things are looking up until this prob starts to show up. Water I not scared. More scared of water leading to rust........Thanks guys. Sigh.

Hi !

Based on what I have read in this forum, someone with his E46 faced the same problem and later realised that it was caused by the Front Speaker mounting. When the installer mount the speaker, he cut certain part of the door or some material. This has caused water to leak into the car cabin.

May be you can check this point

rusting is your main enermy now... get it fixed bro... and soon...
