Watch Authentication

Hi All,

Any watch fanatics here can advise on where I might be able to get a watch authenticated?
Checked with Visiotime and Passions they both don't do such services...
Anyone has any bright ideas?

ya buy new! especially for langes...lots of fakes just popped out lately. last 3 weeks i heard 5 horror stories...

Understand you can go to the agent for that...eg Rolex center, etc. May need to pay some $$ for servicing. If fake, agent will tell you cannot service because it's fake.

If there is are box/papers, bought from local shop, perhaps one way is to send there for service, with you paying the service bill as cost of authentication. Overseas purchases and if too cheap, pass.

What horror stories for Lange 1 Toto? Please share?


Unfortunately according to Richemont, no Lange Technicians in town have to send back to factory to get it 1. authenticated 2. serviced...

i remember the guy used to start with old 2nd hand watches, and grew from there.

Its even listed on the website. But nope. they don't do it...

Yes, bought a couple of watches from him before and he is a little Loso............ Even brought "A" cut Cartier copy watch to test him and he managed to spot it within seconds.
