Waste of time warranty repair at PML

So I sent my car in yesterday to PML to fix a fault (ABS brakes & stability control failure) and squeaky rear wheel when driving (not braking).

PML keeps the car a full day, tells me everything should be fine and the next day I realize that nothing was fixed and everything is still as bad as before I sent the car in.

Is this their strategy to string me along and not fix anything until the warranty expires?

Very frustrating dealing with PML, has anyone had any similar experiences?

Sime Darby because my salesguy said it's better than Alexandria (where I used to get substandard service for my Z3) :argue: :liar:

stefman, PML should provide u a report of the fixes/repairs they have done to your car...request for that report...

all 3 faults not fixed? that is lame. as i said that squeaky rear wheel when driving is tricky on 335i cars.

very common la.

ur sales person knows sh!t. remember most of these guys sell cars, they know nuts bout servicing and stuff. sometimes just quoting through word of mouth

its up to u now. since u got the problems :fixed" at sime darby, i suggest u call up the CSA and puck him upside down for what was not delivered and ask him to make an appt for u to have it looked at again. i have no qualms about that. coz he is suppose to test the car after that to ensure that the issues r resolved. else he has to think of an alternative or report to u in the meantime.

alternatively go to Alexandra.

what is csa job responsibility ?

1. merely a clerk who fill up service request. nothing more, nothing less. problem is solved or not ... bo chap and most importantly learn the arts of bullshitting and giving lame excuses

2. be attentive and address owner request. follow up and escalate internally even though he/she has know technical knowledge of the car issue. at least know there is a problem called 'noise at rear wheel'

based on feedback, it seems like most csa take the 1st route

i asked myself that qn as well.

basically CSA is the face off with customers. he then conveys it to the techs to get the problem fixed. when its done tech will relay back to CSA telling him what was done or cannot be done. CSA then comes back to us.
