warm air from the air-con blower

There been a sudden gash of warm air from the air-con blower whenever i start my engine before going off.

it even happen in the evening.
Is this normal?

Normal. These days weather hot so hot air trapped inside blower. And I am not a PML SA hor.

Bro, same here. Just collected my ride. Was about to ask n then saw yr post. Wonder if other face same thing or we miss some settings?

horfun, on a seperate note, since there is a E90 division in bmw.sg, should we create a F10 division ?

i guess bmw cars behave tat way...... was once informed that whenever we start our car the sensors (in & out of the car) at off mode are then synchronised back to the computer n the aircon system will then adjust to the temp settg ...... i dun knw how different n complicated it is on a bmw compare to other cars but 1 thg for sure is all my previous rides doesnt behave tat way.

yes. too many sensors in the bmw. I feel that bmws are bulit to be complicated. Sometimes it is better to have less sensors and to focus more on build quality.

Excellent idea on creating a F10 division! now all the threads are all over the place...need to search...especially so many started by our dear mr. hor fun...very informative ! thanks bro !!

One suggestion n something I tried: b4 u switch off engine, switch off yr air con first. So the nxt time u start yr car, there won't b an instant gush of air caused by the air con! It's also good for the engine to warm up b4 switching on the air con compressor. Jus my 2 cents worth of view....cheers.

I always off my Aircon before switching off my engine but I still experience the gush of hot air...
