Wanting to buy Bridgestone RE050 Tyres

Hi,

Any recommendation as to which is the "most value for money" tyre shop to buy non-RTF Bridgestone RE050 tyres for 17" staggered rims for E90 : front 225/45/17 & rear 255/40/17.

How much should I be paying for these rubbers on average ?

Many Thanks :)

I suggest Hurry tyres at bukit timah road. Boss (cant remember his name) there is honest and friendly, pricess are very reasonable compared to other tyre shops. Service is also of quality.

Depending on the type of tyres (performance or comfort) you are looking for. I would say a set of RE050 17" should set you back about 1k to 1.5k maybe? best is to hurry down to Hurry and check it out.

Hope this helps

You can try Poh Heng at AMK. Look for Justin, his mobile no. is 98368640.

His pricing is mostly competitive. Everytime I visit his tyre shop they are busy and always non-stop changing tyres. His workers and parents are friendly.

Do check with him the year of manufacture for the tyres. The fresher the better and safer. You know sometimes the older ones come cheap.

any new OEW rims there boh? contemplating changing.

When I 1st got car, I popped by there and saw that he had a set of brand new styling 190's! I never knew anyone would have got it installed on their cars and gave it up so quickly as it was one of BMW's latest designs. Going cheap as well after trade in. In the end went for something else as the 19" are a little too huge for my liking.

Yup, they do have BMW OEM designs as quite a few bimmer owners would collect their cars and immediately drive to Hurry and trade in their stock rims and get aftermarket ones.

I did drop by Hurry Tyres, Mr Tan is friendly and gives good opinions and recommendation. Their prices are reasonable too.
