Wanted to reduce camber/toe

I know Andre is gonna say this to me:slaphead:

But I do feel like reducing the camber because:
1. I want a more flush look from the sides of the car
2. Someone once told me for straight line non-trackie driver like me, I really dont need camber negatively because I just dont track. Less camber and more neutral camber >> more rubber flat contact so better grip and launch/acceleration.
3. My rear tyres' inner halves are wearing fast like my bata sandals, due to the negative camber (and maybe partly due to the LSD)

So guys, I am now on these settings:
Front - negative 2 deg camber, toe neutral
Rear - negative 1.5 deg camber, toe 'in' 10 degree
(kenntona better help confirmed!)

Can I change to:
Front and Rear - 0.5 degree camber all round? Still got some camber for spirited driving but more asthetic looking:thinking:

Or can I get rid of all the camber totally?:ehhh:

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

My readings: Front -2 camber, neutral toe, rear -1 camber, 1 toe in - similar to yours.

You want aesthetics, go for more aggressive offsets...... wahahahahaha...........

Mai hiao lah, beng. How you kup corners?

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

go wif -1 front and -1.5 rear, perfect for daily drive.
neutral camel toes.

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

Wah lau, i mistaken the thread as "Wanted to reduce camel/toe"

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

can someone explain why negative camber is better for the track... i just had my evo set at -2 deg but not sure exactly why this is better.

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

Slip angle, lateral force but up to a certain degree.

Kuvesh
It's great for cornering...At high speed, it's compromised a bit but then on track, it is not about top speed.

Think of it in layman sort of explanation....when u hv -ve camber, u take corner, ur car can "lean" ...more stable....../ \

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

What if I go with this for more straight line speed....

front -0.5 and rear -1 camber......no toe at all ? Drivable ?

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

kuvesh did u see adam's S2000 yesterday? -4!!

Re: Wanted to reduce camber/toe

the new z4 comes stock with 2.3 camber for the rear. eating the inner rubber faster than you can use 1 mth supple of rubber!

went to kenny for alightment check yesterday and he advise me aginst reducing the negative camber
