he is giving me a quote. this clear bra is for the new ride, so not so soon. u can tahan few months no bra or not? hehe
according to him its very thick and tough. US military used it or something and radar cannot detect. whahaha. hopefully ERP machine also cannot detect our rides!!

Slater, I am using venture shield for my headlights, side fender and the rear part of my side skirt. I think there is no need to clear bra the whole side skirt.. i just came back from KL and so far so good except for the rear part of my side skirt already have 3-4 stone chips knn.. so i just clear bra over it today..

do u mind PM'ing me the price u had to pay to clear bra ur ride? was thinking of doing bonnet and skirts.
thanks dan. but i think its highly subjective from car to car. depending on the design of the car and size of tyres, the stones will get kicked differently. it may be the rear end of ur side skirts but it maybe the front fer me. but prevention is better den cureDan Ong;491470 said:

Tahan a few mths should be ok. Till then, hope my bonnet not so badly chipped.
just a question on side skirts: my side skirts hardly ganna stone chips, but underneath the side skirts, it always ganna humps and got scratched.
Worth it to wrap clear bra on it?

ya, i don't think protective film for cars its never cheap. cheap one are normal quite thin. the ideas of protective film to protect factory painted items. cos there many many layers of paint very 'kow'. but if you put film on the spray parts sometime the paint will come off when u peel the film.
drive slowly, use smaller tires will save you some tire cost and fuel cost.

Unlikely to put the film onto any other parts except those 2 mentioned above. Very prone to stone chips/scratches due to my way of driving.

the amount of gravel on roads these days r just pucking terrible. iam not even tokking bout highways or industrial areas. everywhere is a construction site. sipeh sian! :furious:
