its supposed to be cheaper for similar engine specs

Yeah, read it in CAR Mag that its supposed to be positioned below the Golf. I hope they will put in the R32 engine to make it another pocket rocket!

This car shud be well superior to Golf in terms of handling
The tracks are signficantly wider both front n back, the car sits lower too and last but not least, it's bout 50kg lighter than the Golf 3dr..

Test drive by Edric Pan of ST in yesterday' Sat. edition. Said only 200bhp 2-litre model (2.0 TSI) for Singapore. 0-100 in 7.1s, Top speed 235kph.
