Voice Input System

HI,

Anyone has successfully used the voice input function on the E60? I tried several times and could not get it to work

which version of i-drive you have..the single or mutli buttons latest generation?

it doesn't like the way i speak and it struggles to recognise malay road names..
phone dialing so far ok... but most of the time i give up...

The i-Drive on my E60 has a few buttons around the round knob. I guess this is what you refer as multi buttons...tried to access ther menu like "computer" etc. but it kept asking me to say a name for phone dialing. Guess it also don't like my voice...giving up liao...

Not perfect but the voice recogniction in the new I-Drive works better much than my previous Motorola hp. Try stretching the syllables, for example, say "maaaap" for map.
