VKOOL tint for White car

Is 35% 75% nice for tinting white car?
Need suggestion to instruct my Pi for new F10

I use 20-80. Very good for this hot hot weather.

But white ants don't like black windows.

But don't be bothered by white ants lar. Last two years, kena bitten by white ants twice. $70 each. $140 for two years,... small matter.... as long as life is shiok shiok.

Market rumours has it that as long as front windows are compliant, rear windows dark dark they dun care.

But like that not shiok lar.

No need redo. They dont ask you go inspection. Just send you a Notice with advice on safety.

Horfun, does your car come with sun protection glass? Wonder if that is enough without after market tints.

I've heard some horror stories about vkool and other after market stickers. They wet the dashboard and sometimes when water seeps in, electrical problems happen later. Anyone with experience can comment?

Then bring along a big beach towel and cover the dashboard.

I've done several such stickers. Never had problem. They are professionals in their job.... unlike those at PML...

I just got pulled over today for dark tints on front & windscreen..

The cop told me to wait for letter..when I asked him if need to go inspection, he just smiled & said its better to remove the dark film & install compliant ones...cos if next time kenna pull over again, they might bring me back...

Honestly, while driving back, I was kinda determined to re-do my tints..but after reading some of the other bros experiences with white ants, especially yours, I feel like just leaving it for time being. I just installed it abt 2 months & moreover, my sole purpose of using dark tints is to cut the heat, not so much for asthetic purposes..

If $70 fine, I can manage...but if $500 like what some bros here`hv mentioned, then not worth the risk cos I'm sure LTA will want me to strip off the film..
