There are some rumors floating around that we are shipping out v2 updates for non-local folks. This is not true. So far, only a dozen or so local folks are running the beta v2 update. This is how it will remain until we finish up the final production version of the firmware update.
This will include:
1) A smart valet feature. This means that you can toggle between the standard map and a stock map without the use of any additional switch or wires.
2) A user tunable feature that will allow you to dial in the torque curve you desire. Max it out
if you want the quickest possible car. Dial it back if you get scared easily
3) The usual adaptive strategies mentioned several weeks ago that allow the car to perform at max potential given environment conditions. This includes a boost decay feature for cars subject to sustained load and/or ultra harsh conditions. As well as a short-term overboost when conditions are good.
4) A complete elimination of limp mode caused by boost target not being achieved.
5) The PROcede now being powered by switched ignition power instead of constant power. This will eliminate the power consumption notice that some cars have triggered.
6) No more solenoid bypass.
